Thank You to those Most Courageous

I am so proud of our courageous GoHealth Urgent Care team members on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic and want to thank every one of them for demonstrating unparalleled compassion and for going Above and Beyond to protect our patients and communities. Through their tireless efforts, they are demonstrating the true value of urgent care and innovating in each of our markets to find novel ways to overcome COVID-19.

In our Northwell Health-GoHealth Urgent Care partnership in NY, we have been more involved in COVID-19 testing than any other urgent care provider from the very beginning. We also were asked by the State of New York to use our queuing system as the backbone for its mobile COVID-19 testing site in the New Rochelle containment area in Westchester county. Our team rose to the challenge within a matter of hours and had it live to support a community deeply in need.

In our Novant Health-GoHealth Urgent Care partnership in NC, we were the first urgent care to provide in-vehicle COVID-19 testing to protect other patients, team members and ensure safety of within our centers.

At Legacy Health-GoHealth Urgent Care in the Pacific Northwest and Hartford HealthCare-GoHealth Urgent Care in Connecticut, we have substantially increased our virtual urgent care visit capacity, providing an incredibly efficient and effective channel to screen potential COVID-19 exposed patients, while allowing non-COVID-19 related patients to be treated in the comfort and safety of their own homes.

Through our Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care partnership in St. Louis and Springfield, Missouri, Oklahoma City and Northwest Arkansas, we are collaborating with Mercy across the continuum to provide seamless care for each community member during the COVID-19 outbreak, ensuring that all patients, including those in need of primary care, can be seen and treated quickly.

In San Francisco, through our Dignity Health-GoHealth Urgent Care partnership, we are about to launch virtual urgent care visits and continue to be one of the few ambulatory healthcare providers open in the Bay Area to provide needed care to a community that is sheltering in place. In addition to working closely with Dignity Health, we are also cooperating and coordinating with other significant healthcare organizations like UCSF Health to ensure that the Bay Area community has more access points for care.

In our newest partnership with ChristianaCare, we have opened five ChristianaCare-GoHealth Urgent Care centers in the midst of the COVID-19 crisis and introduced award-wining, customer-focused digital tools to ensure that our Delaware communities can effortlessly engage in their care and have unparalleled access during a challenging time.

And our support teams, from IT to Marketing to the People Team, Finance, Business Intelligence, Legal, Compliance, Revenue Cycle and more, have shown incredible urgency, servant leadership and dedication to the cause. They have sprung into action and partnered with our operations and clinical teams to introduce new and innovative workflows, novel solutions and sometimes simply extra arms and legs to make changes on the fly and ensure that our front lines have all of the support they need.

We owe a huge debt of gratitude to our amazing caregivers, center staff and support teams and to their families, friends and loved ones who have supported them in their efforts, as well as to all of our partners, fellow healthcare providers and insurance companies, for ensuring that as a nation we will beat COVID-19, learn key lessons along the way and be better prepared in the future for whatever comes next. GoHealth!
