Schedule your clinical evaluation and test for 2-3 hours before your flight departure time or walk up

Testing occurs before check-in and security, at the International Terminal, Level 3, Aisle 6. The evaluation and test will cost a total of $225. This cost will not be billed to insurance and and must be paid prior to your visit using the link you receive via text.

Head to the SFO International Terminal to complete a Virtual Visit with one of our providers

The easiest and most convenient way to the testing site is via the Air Train. Proceed down to Level 3. Your in-person rapid test will be completed right after your Virtual Visit evaluation in the International Terminal.

Your results will be ready in approximately 15 minutes after your rapid test is complete

Receive a printed copy of your test results onsite and electronically within 24 hours in your Patient Portal. Be sure to upload a PDF version of your negative results to the Hawaii Safe Traveler portal, then head to the United check-in desk in the domestic terminal.

The Dignity Health-GoHealth Urgent Care Rapid COVID-19 Testing site is located in the International Terminal, Level 3, Aisle 6. If you are coming from outside the International Terminal, we recommend utilizing the convenient AirTrain, as it's the quickest way of travel throughout the airport. Once you arrive in the International Terminal, follow the signs down to Level 3 and proceed to Aisle 6. 

The testing location is approximately 15-20 minutes away from the United Airlines check-in desk, please plan accordingly.

Frequently Asked Questions

How will I pay for my rapid test and clinical virtual evaluation?

The total fee is $225 and must be paid prior to your test using the link you receive via text message. Look for a text message from #25963 with a link to provide your payment details. If you are unable to pay by text, onsite payment via credit card is accepted but not preferred. 

How early can I get tested?

For onsite SFO testing, you must be tested on the same day of your flight to Hawaii. You may schedule at any open timeslot, but we recommend reserving a spot 2-3 hours before your departure time, as testing will be closed 90 minutes prior to your departure time. The Hawaii Department of Health will accept negative test results from COVID-19 tests completed within 72 hours of flight arrival time. Learn more here.

How far in advance can I schedule my evaluation and test?

Currently, you have the option to schedule the evaluation and rapid COVID-19 test 7 days prior to your travel date. We do appreciate your patience as we work towards extending this to 30 days out. 

Where can I find my test results?

A paper copy of your test results will be available onsite in approximately 15 minutes after your test is complete. Your results will also be available to you electronically in your patient portal within 24 hours and can be downloaded in PDF format. 

Can I use Dignity Health-GoHealth Urgent Care for non-COVID related illnesses and injuries?

Yes, all Dignity Health-GoHealth Urgent Care centers provide care for adults and children 6 months and up for most non-life threatening illnesses and injuries. We have on-site lab and x-ray services available.

How do I upload my Negative COVID-19 Results to the Hawaii Safe Traveler portal?

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, The State of Hawaii has changed it's rules for entry and now requires a negative COVID-19 test result, administered by an approved partner organizaton, to be uploaded to their Hawaii Safe Traveler portal prior to entry into Hawaii. You must first create an account on the Hawaii Safe Traveler website. Once you have your Negative Rapid COVID-19 Test results, you must download a PDF version of the results and upload them to the Hawaii Safe Traveler Program in the "Documents" section.

What type of Rapid COVID-19 Test is administered at SFO?

At the SFO Testing site, our staff administers the Anterior Nare - Sars-CoV-2 RNA Assay, Nucleic Acid Amplification Test. 

What is the best way to get to the testing site from Terminal 3?

Taking the Air Train to the International Terminal is the fastest and most convenient way to arrive at the testing site. Upon your arrival in the International Terminal, follow the signs down to Level 3 and proceed to Aisle 6.

Will the Dignity Health-GoHealth Urgent Care Team provide expedited services if I am running late for my flight?

We recommend passengers arrive at the testing site at least 2-3 hours prior to departure to allow adequate testing time. The Dignity Health-GoHealth Urgent Care providers and staff are not responsible and will not provide expedited services to ensure on-time departures are made by passengers. Please remember our team is on the front lines of the COVID-19 Pandemic, we appreciate your patience as we work through this together.

Who is responsible for knowing which tests are accepted at each destination?

Due to the rapidly evolving climate of COVID-19, decisions around acceptance of COVID-19 tests are being made at a local and sometimes national level. Passengers are responsible for knowing and understanding the specific requirements for their travel plans.
