Important COVID-19 Information

We're Open For COVID-19 Testing:

  1. Save your spot online. This will save you time and help us safely prepare for you and other patients. Please text us when you arrive. You may also schedule a Video Visit for a COVID-19 evaluation.
  2. If you cannot check-in online, please sign-in at our kiosk by the front door, then wait in your car. If you’ve opted for texts from us, our queuing system will text you when a provider is ready to see you! Otherwise, our staff will call you when it’s your turn. Please wear a mask in the center if you have one.
  3. If you have symptoms of COVID-19 (fever with a cough and/or shortness of breath) or a known exposure to a COVID-19 positive individual in the past 10 days, please save your spot online, text us when you arrive and wait in your car. Our team members will evaluate your symptoms curbside to determine the appropriate care and see if you qualify for a COVID-19 test.

Frequently Asked Questions on COVID-19 Testing:

Q: Can I get tested for COVID-19?

A: Testing is available if your symptoms meet criteria for COVID-19 testing as determined by Novant Health or if you have a known exposure to a COVID-19 postive individual in the past 10 days.

Q: Can I walk in for the test?

A: Yes, you can walk in to be evaluated by a provider. However, for safety we advise that you check in online for your visit, notify us that you have arrived via text, and wait in your car outside until notified by one of our providers.

Q: Do I need an appointment for the test?

A: No, you do not need an appointment to be seen in our centers. However, we strongly recommend that you save your spot online to allow our team to prepare for your visit. You may also schedule a Video Visit to be evaluated by one of our providers, who will refer you for testing if determined necessary.

Q: How long do I have to wait for test results if I do get tested?

A: Our COVID-19 swabs are sent to a lab for testing, which could take 7-10 days for diagnostic tests and 3-4 days for antibody tests. Please do not call our centers for test results, as results will be communicated to you as soon as they are completed via MyChart and a phone call.
