For some, an urgent care visit can be a stress-inducing experience. For those on the autism spectrum, the idea of meeting a care team member for the first time and being in a new, unfamiliar environment can create feelings of anxiety and overwhelm.
Through our partnership with Autism Speaks, we work to make centers more accessible to neurodivergent customers and their families. The Lake Success, Hewlett and Elwood locations have received the Autism Friendly Designation, reflecting specialized provider training and environmental adjustments that support a safe, sensory-friendly experience for all.
