Manager, Strategic Operations

Position Description:


The Manager of Strategic Operations will work directly with the VP, Strategic Operations across the organization to advance strategic initiatives with our health system partners and support business growth. They will have an opportunity to have meaningful impact on the internal and front line operations of the organization.

Responsibilities:
 
  • Work with VP, Strategic Operations and Regional Presidents to articulate market volume driving strategies, operational improvement plans, P&L related topics.
  • Work with service line leaders to build out business case for expansion of Primary Care and Behavioral Health. This includes working with market leaders to understand needs of each community, identify the demand new service lines, and develop a plan for expansion.
  • Support the preparation and the execution of all health system quarterly Board Meetings and health system “pitch decks” as we pitch new service lines and services
  • Work with Regional Presidents to standardize the board prep process across the enterprise

Qualifications:  
  • 2+ years of management consulting required, working directly with healthcare clients in a growth phase preferred
  • 2+ years working in a healthcare operation environment preferred.
  • Ability to bootstrap nascent initiatives & own complex projects end-to-end
  • Ability to juggle competing priorities in high growth environment
  • Strong project management and negotiations skills.
  • Experience and skills in presenting and negotiating with executive leadership.
  • Champion problem solver without hesitancy to roll up their sleeves
  • History of building scalable processes, and translating strategic plans into action
  • A willingness to learn on the job and take on tasks as needed
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to create strong narratives and articulate these narratives through Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Strong ability to complete analyses in Excel, based on large data sources
