Frequently Asked Questions on COVID-19 Testing:

Q: Can I get tested for COVID-19?

A: Testing is available at our designated COVID-19 testing centers for patients experiencing symptoms - please save your spot online. If you are not experiencing symptoms, but have been in close contact with a COVID-19 positive person in the past 10 days, please schedule a Virtual Visit. Exposed patients should wait 5-7 days after exposure before being tested.

Q: Can I walk in for the test?

A: Yes, you can walk in to be evaluated by a provider. However, for safety we advise that you check in online for your visit, notify us that you have arrived via text, and wait in your car outside until notified by one of our providers. If you are not experiencing symptoms but have been in close contact with a COVID-19 positive person in the last 10 days, please schedule a Virtual Visit.

Q: How long do I have to wait for test results if I do get tested?

A: Our rapid COVID-19 test results will be available on-site in approximately 15 minutes. You can also find your results on your Patient Portal in 1-2 days (3-4 days for antibody tests.) Please do not call our centers for test results, as results will be communicated to you as soon as they are completed via MyChart (Patient Portal) and a phone call. If you have issues logging into your Patient Portal, please call 844-266-8268, option 1.

Q: Can I receive a COVID-19 test for travel clearance?

A: Yes, we offer COVID-19 testing for upcoming travel at our Berewick and Kernersville center locations. Patients with COVID-19 symptoms and/or a COVID-19 exposure in the past 14 days will not be tested for travel clearance, as they don't meet travel testing requirements.

Testimonials

Deb M. - North Carolina
Just a thank you for being so good with Karrina and testing her for both the strep and the flu, especially with my concerns about myself and the flu. Thanks so much. The PA, nurse and MA at the front desk dealing with the insurance were all great!

The people there are nice. I went there at 8:15 which I believe should be the first one just cuz my sore throat is such pain. Basically no waiting. Nurse and clinicians are friendly. They talked to you with no rush, pretty patient. Highly recommended.

Dr. Marvin is absolutely fantastic! This is one of the first times I've been to the doctor and felt like my concerns/problems were heard, that the physician actually took time to talk to me without seeming like he/she would rather be doing something else, and I felt like I had a viable course of action to follow when I left.
