Position Summary:

JOB SUMMARY
- 4-year bachelor’s degree or greater required (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in product management, product ownership, or a related role within the healthcare industry.
- Prior experience in a role where responsibilities included leading and mentoring junior product owners.
- Strong understanding of healthcare workflows and processes in an outpatient/ambulatory setting.
- Knowledge of EHR system integrations (HL7, FHIR, RESTful APIs) is highly desirable.
- Experience performing requirements analysis, writing user stories, and working with business and technology partners to translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Experience creating and maintaining product documentation.
- Excellent project management and coordination skills, with the ability to prioritize competing demands, make data-driven decisions, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A collaborative and team-oriented mindset, passionate about driving transformative staff and patient experience.
- Agile Product Owner Certification
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, particularly Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
- Knowledge of Epic and/or eClinicalWorks EMR is preferred.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence is a plus.
- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to define product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
- Work with subject matter experts (SME) across the organization to perform requirements analysis, gather and prioritize product requirements, considering customer needs and market trends, write detailed feature descriptions, and define and author business and functional requirements based on business needs.
- Work closely with development teams to translate requirements into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria. Write user stories that are detailed, accurate, and development-ready.
- Ensure that business and functional requirements enable the development and integration with other systems, including EHR, SaaS applications, REST APIs, event-driven systems, or data warehouses.
- Regularly interact with stakeholders from various departments to identify future requirements, report progress, and serve as the primary point of contact for business and technology stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns or feedback.
- Lead and facilitate requirements sessions, program increment (PI), backlog grooming sessions, sprint planning, prioritization sessions, and other Agile ceremonies.
- Lead implementation projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project scope and quality standards.
- Plan, define acceptance criteria, conduct user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensure that delivered features meet quality standards, expectations, and business requirements.
- Review, verify, and test features and fixes developed by the developers.
- Create and maintain up-to-date documentation for current and future systems, integrations, and processes.
- Plan and demo product features and functionality to end users and other business stakeholders.
- Contribute to the digital strategy, assist with developing the digital product roadmap, and continually analyze healthcare innovations and consider how they can be applied to GoHealth’s business needs.
- Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in healthcare technology.
- Mentor and coach junior product owners.
