Frequently Asked Questions

Is my insurance accepted at all 14 centers?

Dignity Health-GoHealth Urgent Care is in-network with most major insurance plans, including some Medi-Cal plans. Golden Gate Urgent Care has historically accepted many of these same plans. In the vast majority of cases, your plan will be accepted at any of our 14 centers. Please call your local center to confirm your coverage if you have any questions.

Will I be charged more than I was before?

Patients’ co-pays are based on their specific insurance plan, which will not change as a result of our combination.

All Dignity Health-GoHealth Urgent Care and Golden Gate Urgent Care centers will have the same self-pay rate of $250 for a visit, which includes rapid lab testing and personalized care from our network of devoted providers.

Are centers open weekends, nights and holidays?

Golden Gate Urgent Care locations will be open on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. PST in 2018.  In 2019, those locations will be open 365 days a year, just like Dignity Health-GoHealth Urgent Care centers.

Do I need to transfer my records?

You do not need to do anything to transfer records between locations. Staff at any Golden Gate Urgent Care center should have access to your historical files and records and will share those with Dignity Health-GoHealth Urgent Care centers.

Will I need to pre-register again?
