Community-GoHealth Urgent Care - East Southport Exterior

Community-GoHealth Urgent Care today announced a strategic expansion of services through the acquisition of Indiana Immediate Care (IIC), bringing an enhanced urgent care experience and streamlined access to the Community Health Network to more Indianapolis neighborhoods.

Community-GoHealth acquired Indiana Immediate Care locations in a transaction that was finalized Monday, February 23. Five centers closed temporarily for renovations Monday and are expected to reopen in early March as Community-GoHealth centers. With this expansion, Community-GoHealth will operate a total of 12 urgent care centers across Central Indiana, with additional locations expected to open later this year. Community-GoHealth’s recent growth, including the opening of a new center in Carmel in October 2025, reflects a continued investment in expanding access to care across Central Indiana.

“We’re growing to better serve the community with on-demand care from trusted providers that fits into busy families’ lives,” said Harold Brown, regional president of Community-GoHealth. “When your child wakes up sick or you take a fall, our team is here to help you get the care you need for non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries, without the headache and cost of an emergency room visit. Community-GoHealth combines convenience with the clinical quality, specialists and diagnostic resources of the Community system to make it easier and more affordable to manage your healthcare.”

Community-GoHealth is a joint venture between Community Health Network, a leading not-for-profit healthcare system in Central Indiana, and GoHealth Urgent Care, one of the country’s largest and fastest-growing on-demand care companies. Through Community-GoHealth's virtual urgent care services and neighborhood locations, people across Central Indiana have convenient care for everyday illnesses and injuries, plus access to the wider resources of Community’s network of specialists and services.
