Community-GoHealth Urgent Care opens new location 

Community-GoHealth Urgent Care celebrated the opening of a new center in Carmel today.  

The Carmel location is the first urgent care center to open following the partnership between Community Health Network and GoHealth Urgent Care. It provides the community with a more affordable option for high-quality and efficient care outside of higher-cost settings such as emergency rooms. It also connects customers to Community’s integrated network of care when needed. 

“Opening this center in Carmel marks an exciting step toward increasing access to urgent care in our community,” said Dr. Michelle McCarthy, Community-GoHealth medical director. “With convenient hours, online registration and walk-in availability, our Carmel neighbors have access to care from Community providers where and when they need it most.” 

The new center is located on N Pennsylvania St near the entrance to Meijer, in between Naf Naf and Sauce on the Side, at 12751 N. Pennsylvania Ave, #120, Carmel. 

This opening follows the successful transition of six existing MedCheck facilities, located in Indianapolis (Castleton), East Indianapolis (East), Anderson, Noblesville, Fishers and Greenwood, as a result of the new joint venture announcement.  

About the new center 

Like all Community-GoHealth locations, the Carmel center offers treatment for non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries, on-site X-ray services, and diagnostic testing. The conveniently located center is open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Sunday, with holiday hours at select locations. 

The new center features an innovative, state-of-the-art design. Wood accents, curved surfaces and patient-friendly technology create a uniquely comfortable environment. Integrated electronic medical records allow for connected care across the Community network. 

Customers seeking care can be seen quickly and easily by walking into any Community-GoHealth center or online through Community-GoHealth’s "save a spot” tool. The tool helps you save time by securing your spot in line, checking in and completing registration before arriving at a center.
