Novant Health-GoHealth Urgent Care Expands to Western North Carolina with New Locations & Services

ASHEVILLE, NC, May 22, 2023—Novant Health-GoHealth Urgent Care opened three centers today in Black Mountain and Asheville on Merrimon Avenue and Leicester Highway, marking Novant Health-GoHealth’s entrance into western North Carolina.

The three new centers were formerly Range Urgent Care locations and have been transitioned to Novant Health-GoHealth as of May 22, 2023. The three centers are the first Novant Health-GoHealth locations to open in western North Carolina and bring its total number of centers to 29.

All three locations will offer treatment for non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries, on-site X-ray services and COVID-19 testing. Healthcare providers at Novant Health-GoHealth can also prescribe and fill COVID-19 oral antiviral treatments if clinically indicated after evaluation. The centers will serve the community from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
