Nuvance Health-GoHealth Urgent Care Opens First Center in Carmel

CARMEL, NY (February 5, 2024) – Nuvance Health-GoHealth Urgent Care opened a new center in Carmel today , providing an affordable and accessible healthcare option for people who live and work in the Hudson Valley.

The new center is conveniently located in the Carmel ShopRite Plaza at 186 Route 52, near the Carmel Cinema entrance, and in the same shopping center as Nuvance Health Primary Care. It is less than one mile from downtown Carmel and about four miles from Nuvance Health’s Putnam Hospital on Stoneleigh Ave.

Patients can quickly and easily see a Nuvance Health-GoHealth urgent care provider for diagnosis and treatment of non-life-threatening illnesses or injuries. They can also receive seamless referrals to Nuvance Health’s robust network of primary and specialty care providers when necessary.

The new location provides care for the whole family, offering patients aged six months and older a wide array of services for conditions including flu, fever, earaches, insect bites, sprains, simple fractures, eye injuries and cuts requiring stitches. It is open every day, including holidays. Regular hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Sunday.

The Carmel location follows the openings of centers in Poughkeepsie, Kingston and Wappingers Falls, which opened last year under the new partnership. Nuvance Health-GoHealth plans to open additional centers throughout the Hudson Valley and Fairfield County, Conn., in 2024 and beyond.
