Nuvance Health-GoHealth Urgent Opens First Center in Norwalk

NORWALK, CT (June 5, 2024) – Nuvance Health-GoHealth Urgent Care opened its newest center today in the coastal community of Norwalk, Conn., just two miles from Nuvance Health’s Norwalk Hospital.

The new center is conveniently located just off Route Seven in the Rainbow Plaza Shopping Center at 205 Main Street, Suite 7, at the intersection of Main Street and Canaan Avenue.  The opening of this new center allows patients to see a Nuvance Health-GoHealth urgent care provider in their neighborhood for diagnosis and treatment of non-life-threatening illnesses or injuries. When necessary, patients can also receive seamless referrals to Nuvance Health’s robust network of primary and specialty care providers.

The Norwalk center is the sixth Nuvance Health-GoHealth center and the second in Fairfield County. The new center follows the opening of centers in Carmel, N.Y., and North Stamford, Conn., earlier this year. Nuvance Health-GoHealth plans to open additional centers in Fairfield County and New York’s Hudson Valley region, later this year.

The new location provides care for the whole family, offering patients aged 6 months and older a wide array of services for conditions including flu, fever, earaches, insect bites, sprains, simple fractures, eye injuries and cuts requiring stitches. It is open every day, including holidays, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Sunday.
