GoHealth Names Scotty Sonntag Vice President of Operations

GoHealth Urgent Care named Scotty Sonntag vice president of operations, leading its West Coast partnerships with Legacy Health in the Pacific Northwest and Dignity Health in the San Francisco Bay Area. Sonntag oversees operations, strategy and growth.   

Joining GoHealth in 2022 as senior director of behavioral health, Sonntag led GoHealth’s launch of virtual behavioral health services. He previously led behavioral health services at Amazon Care and worked in emergency services, urgent care and behavioral health at Seattle Children’s Hospital. He began his career in 2003 at University of Utah Health. 

He holds a master’s in social work and is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. He holds a master’s in healthcare administration and in public administration. He lives in Salt Lake City with his wife and three children.
