Stephanie Mercer has been a Physician Assistant for over 9 years. She graduated from Kings College in Pennsylvania with a Masters Degree in 2010. She started her career working 2 years in OB/GYN and then transitioned to Urgent Care for the past 7 years. She has been with GoHealth Urgent Care for over 2 years and works at our Huntington Station location.

Stephanie was born and raised on Long Island, growing up in Levittown and graduating from Island Trees High School.

In her free time, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her husband and dog as well as exercising at Orange Theory Fitness. She enjoys the beach and traveling with family and friends. Her and husband, Bryan, are expecting their first child this year!

Dr. Kristine Stasiuk graduated cum laude from Villanova University with a degree in Biology. After graduation, Dr. Stasiuk returned home to Long Island where she obtained her medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. She fulfilled her residency training at Steven and Alexandra Cohen Children's Medical Center of New York. Dr. Stasiuk furthered her training by completing PM Pediatrics urgent care fellowship program in 2016. Prior to joining GoHealth, Dr. Stasiuk has continued to work in pediatric urgent care.

When Dr. Stasiuk is not in the office, she enjoys spending quality time with friends and family, especially her young nephew. She can also be found exploring Manhattan where she lives, challenging herself at aerial yoga, and traveling the world!

Dr. Stasiuk is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Dr. Matza grew up in Connecticut and is a graduate of Colgate University where he majored in Mathematical Economics. He received his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine and proceeded to complete his training in Family Medicine at Stony Brook. He enjoys watching and playing golf, tennis, basketball, skiing and squash. Dr. Matza also enjoys traveling, theater and exploring all that New York City has to offer.

Debra E. Brooks, MD

Dr. Brooks has been practicing medicine in her native Long Island area for over 25 years. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BA in Honors Humanities Studies, and did post-graduate work at Temple University in Comparative Religion. She received her MD degree from Baylor College of Medicine, and trained in Family Practice at Southside Hospital in Bay Shore, NY. The majority of her experience has been in Urgent Care, and she is also a diplomate of the American Academy of Urgent Care Medicine.

Dr. Brooks firmly believes in the mind-body connection, and seeks to involve patients in their health through education, and by offering counseling both in nutrition and stress reduction methods. She likes to SCUBA dive and rappel, and has knowledge of diving and altitude medicine. She is an avid animal lover and supporter, and enjoys hiking, boating, traveling, and meditation.

Dr. Brooks lives in Suffolk County. Her greatest source of pride is her son, who is following in her footsteps by becoming a physician himself.

Dina Rivera has been practicing medicine as a Physician assistant for over 11 years. She graduated from LIU C.W Post with a Bachelor of Arts in Pre-med/Biology and received her Physician assistant degree and Bachelor of Science at Touro College school of Health Sciences. Dina is board certified through the NCCPA (National Commissions on Certification of Physician Assistants ) and is also a Certified medical DOT examiner through NRCME ( National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners).

She started her career as an onsite supervisor and Urgent care/travel medicine physician assistant for JFK Medical in Queens, NY. Then for the past 7 years she has worked as an Urgent care/ family practice Physician Assistant for Franklin Immediate Medical Center in Franklin square, NY. Where she gained extensive knowledge in the area of adult medicine, pediatrics, women's health and Travel Medicine. Dina is not only personable and highly competent, she believes in providing outstanding and compassionate patient care. She feels good medicine includes not only the combination of continuity of care but the opportunity to be an active part of a patients long term goals.

Dina is USDF Bronze medalist, and is an accomplished upper level Dressage horse trainer and rider. She enjoys riding and competing her horse Dolce . She loves spending time with her family and the great outdoors. Dina is married with 2 beautiful girls and lives in Huntington, NY.

Dominic Hardatt has been practicing medicine throughout New York City for over 5 years. He graduated from St. John’s University with a Bachelor of Science and Physician Assistant Certificate, then later graduated with his Master’s Degree in Health Sciences from Drexel University.

He has wide experience in both Adult and Pediatric Emergency Medicine. His true passion lies with caring for children and helping them feel better, he always felt at home in the Pediatric Emergency Room. His favorite parts of the job are performing procedures and ensuring patients are confident and happy with their care.

Dominic spent a summer in China learning the basics of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It inspired him to learn more about bridging both Eastern and Western approaches in his practice. He loves spending time with his family, and volunteering and event planning for his community Youth Group. In his spare time, he enjoys road trips and biking around the city. He currently lives in Queens, NY.

Christine Huang, MA, MD received her master’s degree in medical sciences and medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine. She graduated from the Beth Israel Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine Emergency Medicine residency program in NYC, and is board certified in Emergency Medicine. She has many years of experience as an attending physician at various NYC Emergency Departments including Lenox Hill Hospital, Beth Israel Medical Center, North General Hospital and Long Island College Hospital. In addition to practicing Emergency Medicine, Dr. Huang also worked at the World Trade Center Center at Mount Sinai Medical Center performing screening evaluations and referrals for medical treatment to rescue workers and civilians who were exposed to environmental hazards at the WTC site after 9/11. Before becoming an Emergency Medicine physician, Dr. Huang was a cancer laboratory research assistant at Harvard Medical School affiliated research hospitals including the Dana Farber Cancer Institute and the New England Deaconess Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts.

Dr. Lynda Gerberg is a Pediatrician specializing in Urgent Care and Sports Medicine. After receiving a bachelor’s degree in biology from University of Miami, she went on to obtain her medical degree from New York Medical College, after which she completed her residency in Pediatrics at Cohen Children’s Medical Center. Dr. Gerberg further sub-specialized in Sports Medicine at Harvard Medical School, where she was a team physician for the Boston Ballet. She also worked as attending physician at the Urgent Care Program at Boston Children’s Hospital.

She returned to Long Island to join Cohen Children’s Medical Center/ Northwell and develop the Pediatric Sports Medicine Program. Dr. Gerberg has been an attending in the Fast Track/Urgicenter at Cohen’s Children’s Hospital-Northwell Health Emergency Department since 2007 taking care of patients as well as being involved with resident and medical student education, prior to joining Northwell-GoHealth in 2017. She is an assistant professor at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell and is fluent in Spanish and French.

As a team member of the volunteer medical organization, Love 4, Dr. Gerberg has been active in medical missions, last having traveled to Puerto Rico to set up clinics and provide medical care for those affected by Hurricane Maria.

Dr. Gerberg lives on Long Island with her family, enjoying the beaches, great restaurants and traveling.

Dr. Gerberg is a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics.

Dr. Stephan Lynn

Dr. Lynn graduated from Swarthmore College and the College of Physicians and Surgeons at Columbia University. He has been named the "Emergency Physician of the Year" by the New York Chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians, and was recently given its first-ever Distinguished Career in Emergency Medicine award. In 1981 Dr. Lynn became the Director and Chair of the Department of Emergency Medicine at the St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center. He served as the Department Chair for more than twenty years, filled the important role of Emergency Medicine Residency Director, and until recently, was a full-time Senior Faculty Member of the Department teaching residents in training. Dr. Lynn has lived and raised a family within one block of the West 69th St. Urgent Care Manhattan site, and has been an active member of the Upper West Side Community for over 40 years.

Dr. Erica Waterman is a Pediatrician with expertise in pediatric emergency medicine. After receiving a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Cornell University, she went on to obtain her medical degree from the University of California at San Diego, after which she completed her residency at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia.

 

Prior to working at GoHealth Urgent Care, Dr. Waterman worked as an attending physician in the Pediatric Emergency Department at NYP/Queens Hospital, in Flushing, NY. In addition to caring directly for ill and Injured children, she has supervised and educated Emergency Medicine residents, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, and medical students in the Pediatric Emergency Department.

 

In 1991, Dr. Waterman and her husband moved to Huntington, NY, where she has lived ever since. She has three adult children - two living and working in NYC, and their youngest just starting medical school in California. Dr. Waterman enjoys the beaches and the natural beauty of Long Island.

Erin McLaughlin has been practicing emergency medicine for 2.5+ years within the northshore LIJ healthcare system. After graduating from Siena College with bachelors in liberal arts and as a player on the women’s lacrosse team she completed graduate school at Touro College with a second bachelors in science and a Masters in Physician Assistant Studies.

Erin currently practice’s at the GoHealth Urgent Care in her hometown of West Islip. She graduated from West Islip High School, along side her triplet brothers, and now husband, Tom. She loves bringing her expertise and experience back to her hometown.

ngrid Voigt, PA-C has been practicing as a Physician Assistant for over 23 years. She graduated from Brooklyn College with a BA and continued on to Long Island University PA Program where she received a BS as well as a PA Certificate. She is ACLS, BCLS, PALS certified and completed a course in abdominal sonography. She has mostly practiced in Urgent Care Centers in Emergency Departments and has also enjoyed a short course in Occupational Medicine. Dr. John Bisacco is a Pediatrician specializing in Pediatric Urgent Care. He obtained his medical degree from St. George's University School of Medicine, after which he completed his residency at Nassau University Medical Center. During his last year of residency, he was appointed Chief Resident and had the designation of Clinical Instructor of Pediatrics at SUNY at Stony Brook School of Medicine.

Prior to joining GoHealth, Dr. Bisacco has continued to work in pediatric urgent care.  Before his work in urgent care, he formed and managed a thriving private practice for more than 20 years.

Dr. Bisacco has lived on Long Island his entire life. He has three adult children and two wonderful grandchildren. He enjoys scuba diving as a past time and has an interest in history, natural science and enjoys going to museums and local preserves.

Joseph Fable has been practicing medicine as a Physician Assistant for over 19 years.  He graduated from SUNY at Buffalo with a B.A. in Health and Human services and received his Physician Assistant Degree from SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn, NY. 

Joe started his career in General and Trauma Surgery back in 2001.  In 2010 transitioned to Emergency Medicine and Orthopedics where he now mainly practices.  He is working per diem for GoHealth Urgent care because he enjoys making people feel better.  Joe makes it his goal to provide each patient with the highest quality of care.

Kyana Wallace is a graduate of the Physician Assistant Program at The Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Studies in New York. She is member of the Northwell/GoHealth Urgent Care team. She received her undergraduate degree from Fordham University with a major in biology and minor in chemistry. Kyana has a strong background in patient care, which was enhanced in earlier years while working at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Her foundation has enabled her to excel in the compassionate approach to medicine. She has direct experience as a Physician Assistant in Emergency Medicine. She has provided care for both the adult and pediatric population. She has an expansive skill set in obtaining histories and physicals, suturing, reductions, splinting, wound care, and much more.
