Frequently Asked Questions

Can I come in right away or do I need an appointment?

No appointment is necessary, however we recommend saving your spot online at a nearby center. This will save you time and ensure our team is prepared for your visit.

Will my child’s coach or caregiver be able to bring my child in for an injury?

Each parent, custodian (individual who exercises legal or physical custody of a minor child, typically a foster parent) or legal guardian (an individual appointed by a parent or a court) may consent a minor child for treatment.

A caregiver must present signed consent from a parent. The note must include the child’s full name, child’s date of birth, first and last name of the accompanying adult and the parent’s signature.

Coaches are not in a position to bring a child to urgent care for an injury unless they have a caregiver’s signed consent from a parent.

Who will my child be seeing at Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care?

Our urgent care staff includes a range of experienced medical professionals including Physicians, Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners.

Will my child’s pediatrician have access to the medical records from his/her urgent care visit?

Yes, at Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care, we utilize an Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system that can be accessed by your pediatrician or primary care provider after your urgent care visit. We will also be able to access medical records from any previous visits and will note of any changes to your medical history.

Does Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care do Sports Physicals?

Yes, we offer Sports Physicals for $35 with or without insurance.
